Celebrating Pride 2023

In 2023 UCU LGBT+ is taking part in walking groups and staffing Pride stalls in London, Birmingham and Manchester. These include UK Black Pride and Trans Pride London.

UCU banner at London Pride 2023 At Pride London UCU had more people in the walking group than in previous years. Five hours of waiting and walking passed quickly for the 30+ people in the walking group.

Incredible support was present along the entire route from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square.

A huge range of experience was present amongst the group from people who have been marching since 1979 Pride to those on their first parade. From teenage to retired the people in the group came from a wide range of backgounds.
