A march to link up workers fighting back: London

  • At London Metropolitan, staff are balloting on industrial action to save their university and the loss of some 700-800 jobs.

  • At Archway Tower, Islington (just down the road from London Met), 500 civil service staff are set to take action to defend jobs and essential services for the disabled.

  • At City University, staff and students are resisting the loss of some 100 jobs as Adult Education courses are threatned with closure as a result of ELQ funding cuts.
