20 April 2021 | last updated: 21 April 2021

Yn e-bost heddiw:

  1. Diwygiadau i Bolisïau AB

  2. Ymgyrch AB Rhan Amser a Delir fesul Awr; Nid yw'n Deg

1. Diwygiadau i Bolisïau AB
Cynhaliwyd cyfarfod o Bwyllgor Negodi Cymru Addysg Bellach (WNCFE) ar 25 Mawrth 2021 a chytunwyd ar ddiwygiadau i'r Cytundeb Tymor Sefydlog a'r Polisi Ymddygiad newydd. Darllenwch y polisïau diwygiedig:

2. Ymgyrch AB - Rhan Amser a Delir fesul Awr; Nid yw'n Deg
Anfonwyd llythyr gan Swyddog UCU Cymru, Margaret Phelan, at bob aelod rhan amser a delir fesul awr mewn colegau yng Nghymru ddydd Llun diwethaf (12 Ebrill) i gyflwyno'r ymgyrch hon. Os na chawsoch chi'r llythyr, mae'n bosibl bod y wybodaeth am eich contract yn anghywir, neu nad yw eich cyfeiriad e-bost gennym.

Gan fod yr ymgyrch hon mor bwysig, a'n bod yn awyddus i gymaint o aelodau â phosibl fod yn rhan ohoni, gofynnwn i chi gymryd dau gam:

  1. Mynd i'r dudalen Ymgyrch Rhan Amser a Delir fesul Awr ar wefan UCU i ddysgu mwy am yr ymgyrch, dyddiadau'r cyfarfodydd a gynhelir ar-lein i aelodau a gwybodaeth am sut i gofrestru.

  2. Cadarnhau a diweddaru eich cofnod aelodaeth yn My UCU fel na fyddwch yn colli unrhyw ohebiaeth yn y dyfodol.

Yn olaf, ar ôl i chi edrych ar y wefan, siaradwch â'ch cydweithwyr am yr ymgyrch, boed yn aelodau o UCU neu beidio, gan eu hannog i ddod i un o'r cyfarfodydd ar-lein. Byddwn bob amser yn barod i groesawu aelodau newydd.

Mewn undod

In today's email:

  1. FE policy revisions

  2. FE part time hourly; 'It's just not fair' campaign

1. FE policy revisions
The WNCFE met on Thursday 25 March 2021 and agreed revisions to the fixed term agreement and the new behaviour policy. Read the amended policies:

2. FE part time hourly; 'It's just not fair' campaign
Last Monday (12 April) a letter was sent from the UCU Wales official, Margaret Phelan, to all part time hourly paid members in colleges in Wales to introduce this campaign. If you did not receive the letter, it could be that your contract information is incorrect or we do not have an email address for you.

As this is such an important campaign and we would like as many members as possible to get involved, we would ask you to take two steps:

  1. Visit the PTHP campaign page on the UCU website to find out more about the campaign, the dates of the online meetings for members and how to register.

  2. Check and update your membership record at My UCU so you don't miss out on any future communications.

Finally, once you have had a look at the website, please speak to colleagues about the campaign, whether they are UCU members or not and encourage them to attend one of the online meetings, we are always happy to welcome new members.

In solidarity
UCU Wales
