The rally and lobby of parliament is about the future of public services and will be calling for fair pay for public sector workers. Every branch is asked to send at least two reps to the lobby. If the FE employers fail to seriously improve on their 2.5% pay offer at the next negotiations on 5 June, London college members will be asked to strike on 9 June and turn up en masseat Westminster to lobby their MPs. Plans to step up industrial action more widely are in train with two days national action in England set for September.

The rally will take place in Central Hall, Westminster, starting at 1pm. Allow yourself plenty of time to get in. UCU general secretary Sally Hunt is speaking at 1.10pm.

Lobbying will start at 2.30pm at the House of Commons.
