Higher education special sector conference: HE dispute(s), including New JNCHES, USS, TPS, and any possible links between them.

Venue & times

The conference will be held on line, using Zoom webinar.   Business will start from 11:00  - 13:00 & 14:00 - 16:00 with additional short break within these sessions.

12 noon, Monday 23 August Deadline for submission of motions
Wednesday 25 August Congress Business Committee meets to consider motions
Thursday 26 August Congress Business Committee 1st report issued
12 noon, Thursday 2 September Deadline for amendments to motions in CBC's first report
5pm, Friday 3 September Deadline for delegate registration
Friday, 3 September CBC meets to consider amendments
Monday 6 September Final agenda (CBC's second report) issued
Thursday 9 September Online special higher education sector conference

Delegates properly appointed by branches can register online here.

Delegate entitlements

Branches are entitled to one delegate per 400 members or part thereof to a maximum of six.  (Aggregation does not apply to sector conference delegates.) 

HE Sector entitlements

Advance notice of delegates' requests to speak

Advance notice will need to be given of all delegates' requests to speak in the debates, including the movers and seconders of motions. A form will be made available here after the congress business committee's first report has been published.
