International workers' right to strike

She said there had been an 'overwhelming response' to the article on the right to strike for international staff in The Independent last week. The piece, co-authored by John McDonnell MP and Sally called on the government to guarantee that taking strike action will not put migrant workers' immigration status at risk. 

She said, 'I believe the right to strike is a human right, so for trade unionists this is a "line in the sand".'

She urged members to join her in defending this fundamental right and asked them to contact their MP with our online tool here and ask them to raise the issue with the Home Office and in parliament.'
