University of Strathclyde wins University of the Year award

Commenting on the news that the University of Strathclyde last night won the coveted Times Higher Education University of the Year award, UCU Scotland said the award was recognition of the hard work by staff at the institution.
UCU Scottish Official, Mary Senior, said: 'The University of Strathclyde is undergoing considerable change with a number of courses and departments being closed. The fact that the institution has been presented with this award is a tribute to the hardworking and dedicated staff who continue to deliver the highest standards of teaching, research and innovation.'
