Candidates for Stirling to be quizzed on higher education policy

Prospective parliamentary candidates for the Stirling general election seat will take part in a hustings with voters on Wednesday 14 April where they will be quizzed on their plans for higher education.

The lunchtime event at Stirling University (see directions) has been organised by the University and College Union (UCU). It will start at 12.30 and bring together staff and students from the campus who will question the parties' candidates on their proposals for higher education.

The candidates attending are:

  • Bob Dalrymple, Conservative
  • Alison Lindsay, Scottish National Party
  • Anne McGuire, Labour
  • Graham Reed, Liberal Democrat
