UCU Black History Month event

On Wednesday 19 October UCU hosted an online event to celebrate Black History Month: Black activism today - learning from our history
The session looked at the history of the predecessor unions, NATFHE and AUT, in developing black self-organised structures. The wide-ranging discussion encompassed how the structures effect change and how black members of the union can become more involved the union.
