UCU comment on Scottish government Programme for Government

Responding to the first minister's Programme for Government, the UCU's Scotland official Mary Senior said: 'It's good to see the development of a strategy for international education along with a new Scottish Education Exchange Programme within today's programme for government. It's vital that we restore the reciprocal educational exchange offer for students and staff that was lost with Brexit and the discontinuation of Erasmus in the UK.

'Today's proposals should be a first step to ensuring Scotland continues to provide international mobility for learners, staff and ideas.'
