Joint equality groups conference 2024

The joint equality groups conference 2024 will take place from Thursday 28 November to Saturday 30 November 2024 at Conference Aston. Details of the conference will follow in late August.

As in previous years, the UCU Equality Conference will consist of a plenary session for all delegates and five separate equality group conferences. Attendees will hear from a range of guest speakers, and there will be time for motions and nominations in each equality group conference. 

Equality Groups Conference 2023

The joint Equality Groups Conference 2023 took place from Thursday 16 November to Saturday 19 November 2023. The Conference took place at Manchester Innside Hotel. 

The theme of the plenary session was to explore on the ways in which UCU's equality work supports the struggle for both individual and collective autonomy.
