Hopwood Hall members win 9.2% pay award

A pay deal at Hopwood Hall College in Rochdale will see most lecturers awarded a 9.2% increase.
The offer, agreed by 98% of members in a consultative ballot, is backdated to August. For new lecturers at the bottom of the spine, and for Skills Development Coaches, the deal is worth 20.25% or over £5k.
The deal also includes a commitment to creating a joint workload agreement before the end of the academic year.
