UCU National officer and national executive committee elections in 2018-19

Nominations are currently sought for vice-president from the higher education sector (going on to become president of UCU), honorary treasurer and for NEC members. There are over 20 NEC seats to which nominations are sought. Positions include HE and FE seats elected on a UK-wide basis, seats specific to the Midlands, North East (casual vacancy), North West, South, Scotland and Wales, plus seats for representatives of black members, disabled members, LGBT members, casually employed members and members in land-based and prison education.  Unless otherwise stated in the calling notice (UCU896), all positions are for a term of two years and begin at the close of UCU's national Congress on 27 May 2019.

The deadline for the receipt of all nominations - including all support required for nominations - is 5:00pm on Wednesday 7 November 2018. Candidates standing in contested elections will be asked to provide election addresses by 5:00pm on Friday 30 November 2018. Ballots will take place 1 February - 1 March 2019 (election address submission forms can be found below).
