Stand Up To Racism Trade Union Conference

The annual Stand up to Racism Trade Union Conference will be held on Saturday 10 February at the National Education Union, Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, London WC1H 9BD.  This event is open to all trade union members and is an opportunity for trade unionists to discuss, network, plan and organise against racism in the workplace and wider society.  The conference is a mix of presentations and workshops.

Speakers include: Margaret Greer, Unison National Equalities Officer; Claude Moraes, Labour MEP; Mark Rowe, FBU North West Secretary; Lee Barron, Midlands TUC Regional Secretary; Clare Moseley, Care4Calais; Wilf Sullivan, TUC Race Equality Officer and Weyman Bennett, Stand Up To Racism Joint Convenor.

Registration is vital and members can book their places here. UCU is unable to pay travel and accommodation expenses for this event.  Members should approach their branch for assistance.

This event is supported by the TUC.
