UCU Scotland vice president election: ballot open

The ballot to elect the Vice President of UCU Scotland opens 29 January 2021.  The nomination calling notice and election guidance notes can be found below.

Ballot information

Ballot material will be dispatched on Friday 29 January. This can take a few days to arrive. If any member has not received the ballot material to which they are entitled by Monday 8 February, they should contact the union to request a duplicate ballot paper using the online form which will be made available on this web page on 8 February

The last day on which duplicate ballot material enquiries will usually be dealt with is Tuesday 23 February 2021.  The ballot closes at noon on Tuesday 2 March 2021.

The scrutineer for these elections is Civica Election Services, The Election Centre, 33 Clarendon Road, London N8 0NW. Please note that the pre-paid reply envelopes provided for the return of ballot papers will show a different address; this reflects an arrangement Civica Election Services has to deal with the very large volume of post it receives. All ballot papers returned in pre-paid envelopes or to the Civica office address above will reach the scrutineer.

More information about voting in these elections - including the effect of candidates standing in more than one election and the single transferable vote system (STV), can be found here.

For further information about these elections, please contact Nicola McGowan (nmcgowan@ucu.org.uk).
