UCU Trustee, national officer and national executive committee elections in 2019-20

Nominations are sought for trustees, vice-president from the further education sector (becoming president of UCU in 2022-23), and for NEC members.  There are over 20 NEC seats to which nominations are sought.  Positions inlcude HE and FE seats elected on a UK-wide basis, seats specific to the London and the East, the Midlands (casual vacancy), the North East, Northern Ireland and Wales, plus seats for representatives of migrant members and women members.  Unless otherwise stated in the calling notice, UCU/973, which lists all vacancies, all positions are for a term of two years and begin at the close of UCU's national Congress on 29 May 2020.  Nomination forms and election guidance notes can be found below.

The deadline for the receipt of nominations is 5:00pm on Thursday 14 November 2019.  Candidates standing in contested elections will be asked to provide election addresses by 5:00pm on Thursday 5 December 2019.  Ballots will take place 31 January - 4 March 2020 (election address submission forms can also be found below).
